God's Salvation Plan is given to us in Acts 2:38 and is summarized as follows:
How We Know that Acts 2:38 is the plan that God laid out for us
Jesus first had to open up the apostles understanding.
Luke 24:44-45
44And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.
After he opened their understanding he gave them directions.
Verses 46-49
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promose of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Mark 16:15-18
And said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned. And thses signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents: and if they drink and deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands upon the sick, and they shall recover.
Is Batism Important?
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen
Acts 2 says
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing might wind, and it filled all the house wheere they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
